With October and Halloween, how do we handle food allergies?

Last year, I was made aware of the Teal Pumpkin Project through the FARE (Food Allergy Research Education). The campaign began only for Halloween 2014 and is hoping for the involvement of 100,000 households for Halloween, 2015.

Why not paint a pumpkin teal to leave out on Halloween offering allergy-free treats? It’s a great fall outdoor project for little hands and can do such a huge favor to children with allergies who also want to enjoy this fun and spooky holiday.
