Nurse practitioner and registered dietitian with more than 25 years of experience, specializing in hormone therapy, medical science, and psychopharmacology for women in perimenopause and menopause.
A nurse practitioner and registered dietitian with more than 25 years of experience, Robyn Kievit specializes in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause using hormone therapy, medical science, and psychopharmacology.
She has particular expertise working with women who struggle or have struggled with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image disturbances during these midlife transitions.
Robyn led the industry as the first dietitian to become a nurse practitioner. Combining these degrees and modalities allows her to see patients through these dual lenses, enhancing and elevating the quality of care they receive, particularly when hormonal changes intersect with mental health, body image concerns, and medication management.
Her varied work background, as staff nurse, nurse practitioner, cardiac dietitian, and nutrition consultant to schools, hospitals, and professional sports teams, has given her a unique ability to achieve positive client results.
A sought-after speaker at industry conferences and events, Robyn has appeared live on both television and radio and has been quoted in Boston Magazine, National Geographic, Apple News+, Fitness Magazine, Fox News, Oxygen Magazine, The Boston Herald, The Boston Globe, ADVANCE for NP’s & PA’s, Today’s Dietitian and other national and local media.
She lives in Concord, MA, with her family, a Portuguese Water Dog and a Maine Coon Cat. She loves spending time with her family and friends as well as the beach, reading, cooking and is a long time supporter of Rosie’s Place.
My go-to referral. Holistic and trusted.
Robyn is my go to referral for my patients with eating disorders. Her holistic approach through blending psychopharmacology and nutrition is critical. As a pelvic floor physical therapist, we share a lot of mutual patients and they do really well under Robyn’s care. I trust Robyn with my hardest cases and she is wonderful with collaborating and communicating about these patients which benefits the patients 100%!
Melissa Hines, PT, DPTSmart, kind, authentic, warm.
Robyn is smart, kind, authentic, warm and knows her way around anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and trauma. She is great with all ages and really gets it with teenagers and young adults. She listens, talks in plainspeak and connects with people in a genuine way. We have worked together very closely over the past several years and I continue to be impressed and deeply grateful for our collaboration. I love working with Robyn and I am always thrilled when she can support another of my clients with a med consultation, sometimes along with a nutrition consult, sometimes not, because I know they will be getting great care.
